Great work as always Daniel.

I was wondering if any of the hammock cranes would work for the 1/96 Revell Constitution?  Or failing that would you consider doing some to suit?  There would seem to be many who are building her and it is one part of the kit sadly lacking in scale fidelity.

Thanks for any help you can offer and keep up your wonderful posts.  :D

Dan

Wow, very high quality! Do you offer, or plan to offer anything in 1/75?

Great looking paint job on your ships in that link also.

Dafi,

Your PE work is extraordinary. Through differential etching you've managed to make 3D parts, like the port rigols.

Well done!

Thank you all! Much appreciated.

Even if it is not brass and etch, I also provide some goodies from the resin front :-)

Here are the different anchors, the three in the front are the sizes needed for the set for the Victory 1:100 and the one on the right is for the HMC Alert in the same scale (not forgotten this little gem :-)

Just the stock irons and rings have to be added.

And one of my favourite parts, the knightheads beside the bowsprit:

With a tad of paint it could look like this :-)

Thank you for your kind words.

Being stuck in the austrian mountains far off my shipyard, I updated the assembly instructions and already added the latest goodies to the list.

First glimpse of the side entry port, still refining the form a bit, soon available :-)

Wow Daniel, that is a great work! Amazing! I hope you are successful with this offer since I think things like this should have success!

Do you thought about doing such stuff for the USS Constitution?  ;)

I am always thinking about how to get rid of the edge of the etched parts. Many of your parts are in real life round such as the hooks and the ringbolds. Is there any way to etch away the edges? Ever thought about this? I mean this would of course not lead to real round diameters - but at least it would break the edges a bit?

Would some of your beautiful parts fit for the 1/96 Revell Constitution? What do you think?

Hi Daniel,

On sheet 7, the ringbolts and hooks, about how many hooks and how many ringbolts per sheet?   I'm giving my rigging plan a glance and counting up how many I need.

Thank you rafterrat, Tim and Mark.

Sorry @rafterat, the parts only just in 1:100. Perhaps some would fit, if you would like to investigate if it works and if it is worth, send me a PM and I will send you some details about the sizes.

@Mark, I did the count, it took so long as there were so many ...

;-)

1,3//0,7 mm

600 rings // 370 hooks

1,6//0,8 mm

600 rings // 220 hooks

1,8//1 mm

441 rings // 180 hooks

2//1,25 mm

376 rings //160 hooks

All hooks can also be used as eyebolts :-)

Cleats 3 mm 73 pieces

Cleats 2 mm 58 pieces

Cleats 1 mm 48 pieces

So the total is 3126 items on the plate :-)

Please do not kill me if I miscounted by one or two or even three ...

Cheers, Daniel

Is this the only scale for this build or are there others? I am working on the GOLDEN STAR and scratch building the GLADY'S in 1:80th.?

These parts are 1:100 for a first rate. So some fittings can fit for smaller vessels in bigger scales as there the parts are smaller dimensioned. Please look through the plates and just PM me about the parts of interest and I can give you the dimensions.

Cheers, Daniel

Thanks for the count Daniel.  More detailed than I expected.    That should be more than enough for my modest build.

Do not worry Mark, if ever you decide to rigg all the guns, then they go fast - if not you will have a problem of a lifetime to get rid of them ;-)
