  1. Thanks for all the warm welcomes from you guys! I'll try to get a log going on my first build.
  2. Hi my names is Jim Freday, I'm 63 years old and have been model and trying to get it right every since I was 7 and got glue all over the windshield of my first model car build. I sent 20 years in HO Model Railroading, the trains never really ran because I was to busy building HO Scale building everything from Outhouses to Factories, some that took almost a year to build. I donated all those building to a local club when I moved across the country. The last 10 years have been spent racing HO T-Jets from the 60's, agin playing around in that scale minuture world, and Modeling Wooden Ship is always been a bucket list thing for me. I have a passion for a very narrow time in history the "French and Indian War" and when I saw Chuck Passaro 18th Century Longboat 1750-1760 I figured "I got to start some where" so I did and it was somebody from Model Expo told me to check you guys out. I dont know how much you will be hearing from me, at this stage I'm just going to trying to be a sponge. In poking around the site I saw Chuck Passaro build of his Longboat, this is going to be a big help to me!
