Thanks for the excellent photos Tadeusz. She looks to be in much better condition than when I visited her back in 1974. I don't much like the glass thing they built around her hull though, as much of her beauty is in her wonderful hull shape, which is now almost totally obscured.

Wow, what awesome photographs, thanks for sharing. I'd love to build one of those some day. After completing 30+ ship models I have never made a clipper ship. I guess that is the price you pay for building commissions.

By looking at pictures of the copper sheeting it appears to me that the lower plates overlapping the upper plates. I have read (Longridge - Cutty Sark, p. 55) that this methode was used on war ships while the opposite (top plate overlapping the bottom plate - used on my model) was the norm on merchant ships. A bit confusing
