I have built many kits in the past and have a stash that I may start on soon. Very keen to model 17th century ships but possibly 5th rates or the new "Frigate" construction. If anybody knows a good set of plans from NMM of this period it would be appreciated but from my search most drafts are from around 1720 onwards. Shame that drafts were not the norm then rather than 1/4 scale replicas. I have done quite a bit of 3D modelling work for Flight Sim and the last commercial release was Aerosoft's F14 Tomcat and the Kitty Hawk which I modelled. Finalising the Eagle for release soon.
