Got my own log started again, no pics yet but will add soon. First planking complete, gun ports lined, middle gun deck planked. Starting on the quarter galleries today and having the devil of a time getting everything aligned, so logs and pics like yours are a huge help. My painting was only just passable from about three feet. You have just about caught me up with your build. I am doing the rudder. Tell you what it's a long scroll to the bottom this page. I find they don 't last very long before they get out of shape but neither do the expensive ones so there's no point in wasting money on them. ocean clipper Posted March 9, 2013 Author Share #28 Posted March 9, 2013 Hi just a photo of cannons this the first time i have used a primer and i must say it makes a world of difference to the top coat,for once i have a smooth finish with no trace of the copper showing through .I have now got to discover how those dead eye strops sit on the channels,they are not the usuall run of the mill strops.
