Hi mates. Since I've been asked (and answered in another Forum) for my ropes I think I have to share my unorthodox tip and here as well.
As you know I don’t use anything bought from model shops so my ropes are made from nylon fishing threads (for their rope view) after painted….. d'oh! with oil paints. With this way I have the color I want and in addition the reaction of the thread more like waxed than a nylon one. I think you have to try it ones if you don’t afraid to paint your fingers..
