Hi mates. See in photo what I found in a shop with beads and fake jewels. I just add a cheap pen’s case and here is my suggestions.

1.With materials from the second line a toothpick and a piece of pen’s case we can create a stern lantern. See photo.

2. With beads or from a piece of pen’s case again we can create different sizes of sea lights. I didn’t make the painting to see details. See photo.

3. With the materials from the first line we can create additional decoration on a ship model (like knobs on ship’s stairs…).
4. With the materials from the third line we can create decoration on “chesstrees”.

Have your walk in similar shops and let your imagination lead you.

What a fine idea. I've seen this sort of stuff before and never thought to make lanterns from it. Sometimes the standard stock cast lanterns in kits are real poor. This is the way to go.

Thanks for sharing. Idea

Gentlemen,

This is what we call here in Greece "patenda"
The word derives from the english word patent...

It is used also as a metaphor, i.e if someone things of a solution or a process to a problem that overrides what is commonly practiced in a neat and cheaper way,
then we say he has made a "patenda"..
Very Happy

Hmmm, I think I need to run off and ruffle through my wife's craft boxes. (While she's out of the house, of course.) Laughing
