Some time ago I seem to remember seeing a little "How to" on making gudgeons & pintles out of paper. Tried the search feature but came up empty. Any help would be appreciated.

Keith.

Hi Ken,
I was thinking of doing the gudgeons & pintles for my ship's boat (Leon brigantine 1880) in paper rather than brass. However last night I played around with 0,005"thk. brass sheet & some wire & have nearly finished it. It was easier than I thought.

If you still would like to go through your method with paper, please go ahead. Can it be done at 1:48? My boat is about 3 1/2"lg.

Here is Underhill's drawing from the back of his Vol.1 POF models.

Keith.
