Thanks to the hospitality of Don Pruel, Curator of the Maritime Museum my son and I recently enjoyed an extended tour of the Museum. We were invited to hang around after hrs and meet the club members as well, great bunch of guys. Don is an excellent builder and has a couple of his own models on display. He brought out from th attic a model of the Fair American built by a S. African builder I believe the name was Liting but nor sure. He also took us to the Board room where the Roger's Fair American sits. (picture below) I have several photos of both models on line (address below) The workshop for the Museum is huge. Love to have the workshop. One model waiting on restoration is 12' long model of the St. Lawrence. Huge.
You can see the remainder of the 80 or so photos here
