#4 cabin and companionway

one day, I was working on the Gothenborg making up the aft railings. I had punched the railings out of the parts panels, and I just stared at the panels.......there were two identical strips of wood with equally spaced slots in them....about six inches long. I trimmed them out flat.......and then butted them against each other........and there was the keel!

yes, the model is twelve inches long.....I forget how tall the mast is .
