The cleats on the bowsprit probably should have been placed aft of the mast; I used NMM examples for belay pin placements. The grapnel was an addition--most of the kit's accessories were out-of-scale. I used Ashley as a ref. for the throwing line. Since the stay sail fit was wonky, I decided to stow it.

Hi There,

Wonderful model, my dad had a 20 foot replica built on the lines of the Bounty launch in Cork, Ireland back in the early 80's, she was rigged very similar to your model but with a much shorter jib-boom, your boat is a wonderful reminder of that 20 footer.

Great work..
