Hello colleagues! Look at my work - a plastic model of a medieval ship from the company Zvezda. Painted with a brush, acrylic paints, washings "Tamiya". I tried to achieve a "wooden" color. I hope this was successful.

Created as Father's Day present for my dad.  It is meant to model the wood, Old Town canoe that we had when I was growing up.  The kit was great fun to build and brought back a lot of great memories from my childhood.

See corresponding build log which has photos of the canoe which was the inspiration as well as a lot of build photos.  It seems I can't link directly here, but you savvy people can figure out how to find it.
