About Me
Founded Model Ship World, along with Chuck Passaro, back in 2006.
I started modelling at about 6yrs old, mostly in plastic, and later went onto designing and flying scale model aircraft for Free Flight. Left the scene in the early 90's and ventured back in 2001 to build wooden period ships, eventually founding MSW. Still working in plastic and as a regular author for Tamiya Model Magazine International and Military Illustrated Modeller, Scale Aircraft Modelling, Model Airplane International, and occasional writer for Japanese title, World Scale Modeller. Authored my own book on the Spitfire in 2014.
New contributor to Model Boats magazine.
Works on prototype kit work for Vanguard Models and Amati.
Member of the Nautical Research Guild, helping to promote our hobby and influence others in the benefits of modelling legitimately and avoiding pirated kits.

- Fender Mustang MG-69 Competition Lake Placid Blue - Kurt Cobain model with blue headstock (tail locked down and a Seymour Duncan hot rail in the bridge)
