Enterprize is overI worked for 4 and a half years for this model, with several months off. Unfortunately there are some errors, the project is not too precise but it served to learn several things.Let's hope the next model will be more precise.I will make a 1/36 "LA Belle" model starting from the Hachette Kit by modifying materials and sculptures.Greetings

The CAF enterprize is very difficult, I'm finishing it, it took me almost 5 years, I made a lot of modifications, changing 60% of the materials and using other designs. The Kit plans were copied from the Shipyard Kit - 1/64 - CARD drawings, bringing them to 1/48 scale but they are not very precise, so this created quite a few difficulties. It's a shame because CAF has higher quality kits, especially the latest products.

Lombardini Motor. I made a prospect of the engine with photos of the engine model and real engine photos downloaded from the Lombardini website. Unfortunately, if I load the photos on the site taken with iPad they appear inverted and do not see each other well. -

Compliments Great work is coming very well. The model is very difficult and the instructions of the KIT CAF model are not enough. I had great difficulty doing it and unfortunately there have been some mistakes that are difficult to recover. A greeting Iosto

Hello everybody I finally found some time to publish the work done on Enterprize. It has been a hectic year full of work commitments that have left little room for model making. Despite 3 doses of the vaccine I got COVID, but luckily I didn't have any serious symptoms even though it left me very tired for some time. it is a pleasure to be able to start publishing again

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
