William Underwood - Sardine Carrier - 17" LOA
The William Underwood was built in Dorchester, Massachusetts in 1941. It was built for the Underwood Canning Co. and worked out of Jonesport Maine. The sardine carrier was 70' LOA.
This model was scratch built in 1:48 scale.

Rangeley Guide Boat - 11" LOA
The Rangeley boat derives its name from the Rangeley Lakes region in western Maine where it originated in the late 1800's and was used extensively in the early 1900's. Primarily built as a guide boat for fishing, but it was also used as a gunning boat for waterfowl. The hull is lapstrake and made from 1/64th plywood. It is built in 1:18 scale and is 11 inches in length. A build log can be found here .

New England Stonington Dragger - 11" LOA
Stonington Draggers were among the first of the Western-Rig fishing vessels in New England. These boats originated along the Connecticut coast and were named after the town where they became the dominant type. The use of these boats spread to most Southern New England fishing ports in the early through mid 20th century. This model depicts a vessel typical of the 1920's.

Downeast Salmon Wherry - 9" LOA
This boat is typical of the working craft in the Penobscot Bay area of Maine around 1900. These boats worked the then thriving salmon fishery. It is scratch built in a scale of 1:18.

New Bedford Whaleboat - 10" LOA
This model was built from an old Laughing Whale kit. 1/3" = 1' It came with no pre-cut wood and the only castings provided were the belaying pins. Bluejacket now produces this kit with laser cut updates.
