Hallo Tim Curtis. Tank you allot for nice word about my clipper ship model. To build this model i study alot of pictures from historic pictures at internet and i got the building plans from Model Shipways. My dream was to reconstruction the buity of shipsbuilding at that era. I hoe you start on yor model as well and good luck. sorry for late ansvear😀. Cheers Leif Helge
  13. My model is scaled up to measure 1.5 meters in lenght. Al wooden materials in hull and deck are in oak. My building times has bean 1.5 years for this ship. Im starting this hobby then i was 12 years old and now i had 6 ships in my fleet. I wish al shipsmates good luck with this great hobby. Cinserly Leif Helge from Norway.
  14. Dear model ship builders. My challenge is to make realistic cobber plates for my sail ship. My frustration is why can not anyone produce cobber plates with realistic nail marks. We are in a technological era and I have only found unrealistic on the market. There are some good examples here but I wish there was a tool for printing cobber plates with nail marks. my plates should be 9 mm x 30 mm. Sincerly Leif Helge
