    Great job Harley. I've just started my Missouri and hope that I can at least come close to your results. The kit will demand patience and a lot of planning. Just a quick question regarding the sequence and positioning of the main deck photo etch stanchions. I just cannot see anything about the proper sequence from bow to stern and vice versa in the supplied manual. JP

    Your reference to building in plastic sounds a but condescending. I hope it was was not meant in this way. Scale models in any medium can lead to works of art or end in disaster. After building with wood for many years I've returned to the plastic medium and the skill set required is no less demanding than that required of the wood medium. It is just different.

    I have plenty of proper storage for tools but they all end up in a pile during a build session. When I spend more time locating a certain tool as opposed to building I need to clear the pile and do a complete re set.

    Will be watching this build closely. How are the instructions for this kit? I've also sent along a private message as I'm keen to see the modifications you've made with your Proxxon saw.

    All the accolades should be pointed at you for your achievement. While I appreciate builders who have the skills to achieve a look of clean perfection in a build, I admire builds that show character without looking sloppy. In some cases this may be more difficult to achieve than the "clean" look.
