    Another Silly Question: I am busy with the blue upper sheathing of the hull, the instructions say you must use water based stain. I bought 3 different ones and was not happy with the look so I have been using a blue oil paint that looks similar to yours. I am not sure if this is going to create a problem later when gluing the finer detailed pieces on. Any advice on this and suggestions based on what you have done?     Did you have to make the stand that your Endeavour is on or did you get it with the build set? I am busy with mine and don't have a stand and cant seem to find a place online that would sell such a thing. Just to lazy to make one while I'm busy with the build. Please let me know. Thanks

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
