  1. I built the Bluenose ll from Artsania and enjoyed the build. For the most part the quality is good. It does not have precut sails and to this point I haven;t built any kits that have. Best of luck!! Jack
  2. Good luck with the Connie. I built it several years ago(my second build) and I am sure you won't run into difficult problems that you won't be able to handle.   5. I have been modeling for about 20 years. I have not found a good way to get paint to adhere to etched brass. Does any one have a suggestion. Thanks Jack
  6. I built the Niagara four years ago. It was a good kit and I enjoyed building it. I look forward to following your log. Jack
  7. I ripped up the decking and relaid it. I used pre stain conditioner and it helped some. I think the next time I will use the mix. thanks Jack
  8. I just finished planking the Syren and stained the appropriate area with Golden Oak, which came out very blotchy. I suspect that getting glue on the wood caused this. I do not want to replank it and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions? Dr Mac
