Oh dear!! What a hard time you are going to have keeping museums and such at bay!

With a quality looking build like that be careful they don't try and take it for there own collection. Awesome job. Good work. :)

@Scott: thank you, you are to kind :)

Ty all for all the likes :)

And an update: as you can see, I finished the gunports. I had to redo at least five of them because I put the pins on the wrong side :(

Now I have to drill 168 holes to put them on the hull. Will take 1-2 weeks.....

Nicely done  mate, the lids look great.

You forgot the 168 holes for the lid ropes, that's as much fun as doing ratlines.

Time for an update again.

The channels and deadeyes are on there place. Sjors has  taken a look at it, when he was here and he said the angle of chainplateparts/shrouds was not as bad as it looked :D :D :D :D :D

This week I will finish the last parts of the hull (drilling holes, put some eyelets on there place, the two gunports at the backside and some other thing I forgot).

The 3 stern laterns I will do when I finished the ret of the ship.

Next week I will start with the 4 ship boats.

And again some pictures...

@Joe

Thx and of course we share!! Its THE way to learn from each other ;)

And time for an update:

Finally finished the first ship boat, the 24Ft Cutter. Toke me a whole nine days to finish it. Its a very, very fragile peace of work. You have only to look at it and in breaks in several peaces, as it already happened about 10 times.... :( :(

After it broke the tenth time, I almost tried if this boat could fly too........like an airship.....

I didnt fix the oars yet. I am still waiting for a delevering (raw wood 1mm and some paint and knives).

I ordered it on monday, so the Dutch postman takes his time....

I just started with the 32Ft Pinnace and this one will go a lot faster because i learned from the mistakes I made :D :D :D

And some pictures....

Hi Sjors,

You are going fast again. I just started the first planking of my second ship boat. And still have to fix all those oars, if I count well 28 of them......

But still waiting for the delivery of materials. My new rope just arrived by the way.

With a little luck I will finish the boats end july/begin aug. and then I will pay you and Anja a visit, taking all the raw wood peaces I have with me.

You are more then welcome Hennie.

But don't forget that I still have to work from time to time  :(  :(

And do you like the rope ?

I have cleaned the lathe for you  :)  :)

The chisels are sharp so be my guest !!!!!!

Thx Sjors,

New rope looks beautifull.

And a "small" update.

I finished my second boat, the 32Ft Pinnace and I gave it a bit an impression of my own. Still toke me 8 days to build it. Two more boats to go.

I still haven't received my order so I can fix the oars. I phoned the web shop. There answere: we are still working, but our supplier is on hollidays

I will receive my order end next week

Sme pictures:
