I will post some pictures of the stern gallery.

Sorry....you don't see them because of the clamps !

It's just like the bow section, everything is a frame.

When the glue is dry tomorrow I will show you what the meaning of all that is.

Because it's difficult to clamp it ,the only way is to use the BIG one.

But no worries, I have them even bigger then that  :D  :D  :D

Looking pretty darn good, Sjors.  The bow looks super and I can't wait to see what's under those clamps.

Mark want to see what's under those clamps so here they are Mark.

It's the frame and all the rest of the gallery's.

I have make a few pictures of that so you can see how it goes step by step ( 3 steps then )

All painted ( both sides ) and ready for the decoration......

But first something else.

I have place the front deck and find out that the deck is to small on both sides.

The middle deck has the same problem and I know for sure that the stern deck has the same.

I'm not the only one because I've seen it by a few other builders of the SotS from deagostini.

As you know, problems are there to get solved by us.

So I have glue a few pieces of wood between the deck and the hull, use a little filler and painted all of that.

Now it looks if there is no gap  :D  :D

I will do the same thing with the middle deck.

Thanks you all again.

I don't know if I going fast , I'm just going......

It goes not that quick anymore because of all the painting of the decoration.

And paint needs to dry ( I think )

@ Jason,

You have to hurry with that copper or yes, another build  :D  :D

@ Popeye,

Yep, the deck need some modifications......

@ Frank,

I never see a build that all fits perfectly together.

So we are playing a little with tools and fillers and we finish the job !

Thanks everyone for your nice comment and the likes !

I have to hurry with the decorations......I wish!

We went for gold paint and normally you buy just gold.....clean and that's it !

Not with Anja at your side.....

She was coming with a typical gold.

It looks if it is on the decoration for ages !!!!!!!

But I have to say.....it looks wonderful !

I know, you want to see some pictures but you have to wait for that.

I finished the clock chair and the roof of that is also gold painted.

When the paint is dry tomorrow and I don't forget it, I wil post a picture  :D  :D

I know that i, am not around here these day's but i' m still on this planet :-)

I had to do some demolition on the stern.

I remove the whole backside.

I make a big mistake with the decoration and when i try to get it off, i broke a few things.

So i have send an e-mail to Deagostini for replacements and they send me that they will send me the parts......free of cost !!!

It was my own falt and then this.

I wish that some other manifactures are having this service!!!!

So no update yet.

Sorry to hear about the recent misfortune, Sjors.  Having seen your work, however, I have every confidence that you shall persevere and rebuild it even nicer!  Looks great so far, though.

All the best -

What would modelling be without these mishaps Sjors?  As long as you see the positive side of it, it becomes a learning experience :)  Great that Deagostini have supported their product like this.
