I built a similar kit about 15 years ago of a Bermuda Sloop, kit was Mantua.  Heavily modified from plans from the Massachusetts Maritime Museum.  Check old issues of Nautical Research Guild for a reference.  Fairly difficult due to the hull contour, but a lovely model when finished.  Lou

Hello. Is it plank-on-frame? The product descriptions I've read don't seem to say...Thanks.

Hello, Michael. I would assume that the kit is plank-on-bulkhead unless otherwise stated. Plank-on-frame would be a big selling point and would surely be mentioned if such were the case.

Cheers!

This kit is indeed plank-on-bulkhead.

And, while some listings say it's a brand new kit, I can tell you that it's been out for years. But, I don't know how many.

Never built it, but I have opened up the box and looked through the plans and such. Very nice looking kit.

This is one of those kits I've eyed for a long time. I like Corel kits in general and this one is a large scale, so it would make it easy to detail.

Ages of Sail has it in stock, which is where I've seen it.
