de-bonding PVA?

Hi all:

Wondering if anyone knows a way of de-bonding PVA that does minimal damage to the parts. I'm trying to separate pieces of 3/16" birch ply along their edges. Thanks!

If it's normal PVA (i.e. not water resistant/proof) than water should de-bond it.  Alcohol should also work.  It does take a while as the water needs to soak into the joint and the wood surrounding the joint to soften the PVA.
