Another masterpiece, Karl.  Somehow I have allowed myself to fall behind in following your posts, but I spent some time this morning catching up.  There are so many impressive features to your work.  My favorites are wood finish, clean joinery, and of course the carving, to name only a few.  I would love to see more of how you do this work, even if language barriers deter full explanations.  Very impressive work, as usual.

Hi Ed.

at Amazon I bought an acryl matt laquer.

The structure of the wood comes out even more beautiful.

Greetings

Karl

Hello John.

Thanks for the compliment.

The carvings are made of boxwood.

It's a commission.

It wasn't made by me.

This woodcarving is beyond my abilities.

Absolutely beautiful Karl, as is the case with all your work. After catching up on the last few pages of your log my eagle eyes caught one small detail of Le Requin that you missed- the front is missing! I kid, I kid...;). Wonderful work!
