Karl und Marie by piter56 - 1:48 - German Freight boat

Recommended Posts

Karl and Marie is based on a typical German freight boat, which were built from the 18th century for use in the East Sea. This type of boat is called the Galeasses, but was nothing to do with the Mediterranean Galeasses. The wide hull allows for a large cargo and was extremely stable but not very fast.

Very well done!  Your work is very clean and precise!:10_1_10:  I also like your selection of the type of ship that you're building.  It's a good change of subject, as too many of us go for warships.
