Mirabell61 Posted January 25, 2018 Author Share #332 Posted January 25, 2018 (edited) Thank you very much Denis, I`m pleased you like it... when reviewing my own pics, I noticed that one of the anchor cables was laid wrong in wrong direction on to the spill. ... The corrective action was quite fiddely this afternoon, I had to untie the counter stopper knot from under the grating in the bow deck. With help of a hook-like bent wire finally I got hold of the short cable end behind the stopper knot, under deck and through the fore mast deck hole, loosened it and so could rigg the anchor cable correctly without installing a new cable. I actually wanted to start with the 6 swivel guns mounted on posts today, but now have to shift that action to a later point this week.... I`m trying on the first sample of the swivel gun and its mounting post this morning Nils this is one of the smallest RB barrels with predrilled pivot- and center hole. The soldering hole for the handle must still be brought in to the barrel the semi round support is made from a brass tube... Photos are a double edged sword sometimes, showing every thing in a new light and highlighting mistakes/omissions but allow for remedial action to correct before it's too late.
