I purchased the Cannon Jolle just to get a feel for your kits. What a wonderful little model. Precise laser cuts. My only issue is getting the metal parts cut off the tree. They laser cuts are so small and precise I can’t get my parts nipper in the slot. Love the precut planking. The plans call for masts as part Z3 but there isn’t any Z3 in the box. I will be purchasing the Phoenix and the tender. Does с?  Where can I get pre made sails.

Good afternoon! I'm glad that You liked our kit.

With great pleasure we will see your review of the assembly  of the model on the forum.

Part Z3 is an ordinary toothpick  Ø 2x65mm.

This is an auxiliary part, which is not on the model itself.

We suggest using it to make it easier to  "thimble with a jumper"

See photoinstruction on page 29.

Please, look in the box, maybe it accidentally wrapped up?

All You need, You can easily order on Model Expo,

including the plus models and all pre made sails.

True Lou,

i cant imagine making this at such a tiny scale. 68mm is only 2.67 inches long. Wow!

I have a suspicion that eventually people are going to realize that this little boat will make a masterpiece addition to a number of kits out there like the MS Sultana kitf or example, that do not come with ships boats or have cast metal stuff. I think I have at least four kits that could benefit from this boat, and three or four more that could use the 1/48th version when it comes out. That will flatten out my wallet a little!

I’ve two of these boat kits on order from a supplier in Russia and am looking forward to building them. Even though they are 1/72 scale, I intend to adjust them as appropriate and use them to fit out my 1/64 Syren as the cutter and barge (in addition to the kit-supplied launch).

Would it make sense to also scale these boat kits at 1/64 or is the difference between 1/72 and 1/64 too minor?

Best regards,

Keith

Of course!
Boxes of kits that we will officially supply to foreign countries will have nameplate  in English,

as well as instructions in English.

Therefore, it is worth buying the only kit from our official partners as

in Europe

Will Model Expo have the yawl kits, and if so, when?

Bob

Bob,

Model Expo didn`t order this kit.

Maybe you should make them pre-order.

But GK-Modelbau will have the yawl in store.

They ordered ten kits of the yawl yesterday.

So I advise you to hurry up, if you need this kit now or or from the next batch.

Regards,

  Eugene
