New from Serbia

Hi,
my name is Miroslav. I’m coming from Serbia, small middle-east Europe contry. As a kid I was impresed with sailing ships. At the age of fourteen I made my first wooden ship model. The model was made from wooden sticks and planked with furnir.

Couple of years ago, I have deciede to build much more complex model of sailing ship and at that time I have found La Coroune ship model plan. I have started to prepare templates for bulkheads and the keel but since I was a student at that time, that build didnt start and finish at all.

Finally I have found some time for this hobby and after some researc I have decide to build Bermude sloop Jamaica. The build log will be presented on separate topic.

Looking forward to find enough answers on my questions during the build.

Ziveli (cheers).

Welcome to MSW Miroslav! Best of luck to you on your new sloop build. Just last summer I finished building La Couronne myself. If you ever return to her, I would love to follow along with you as she is a ship that is not often built on here. Your sloop build should prove a much easier build though and I look forward to seeing the build log!
