Wonder what this is?

Recommended Posts

This was a prototype movie prop model that was contracted by Wes Craven and Quentin Tarentino who are co-producing a combination Vampire and Reservoir Dog themed movie. Looks like it will be as bad or good depending on your taste for those kind of flicks.:D

Picture of a "handmade" model found on Reddit, wonder where this came from and how it was built?

Interesting find, thanks for sharing !

Looks a bit like the Steam Punk remake variation of the "Flying Dutchman"

The stuff for a modeler`s nightmare....

The photo is from instagram.  It is a sculpture called 'Leviathan, Ark of the Apocalypse' by Jason Stieva at Shallow Grave Studios.

It appears to be as big as you think; nearly to the ceiling 8 ft high on the table, 7.5 ft. long, and 2.5 ft. wide

Thanks for finding this, sculpture definitely explains how it was made.

Found this pic that gives a better idea of the size...unless he made 2?

I think these are two different models. The first one up top looks like it has three decks going all the way down the length of the hull and this one looks like the front half of the ship is a lot smaller.  Certainly creative.

It's there about midway down the page that Dilbert posted.  Looks like he may have done two.
