Hello 'Cactusman' and a warm welcome to MSW from 'Down Under'.

John

Hi. I am thinking about building this boat:

This is back view of one of my favourite boats "CAYLA".

I am worried about how the deck is joined to the hull. I cement strong enough? I would rather use 1.5mm wood screws. Anyone can commend on joining plastic deck to plastic hull or wood deck to plastic hull?

I just don't feel like cement, or even epoxy, will be strong enough. I have a plastic sailboat I am building now, and I am bolting the deck to the hull with 2mm countersunk screws into a 6mmx6mm plastic block.

This is it "LAUREN". See how deck is plastic joined to plastic hull. I want it to be stronger. Any ideas? Thanks.
