New member, but unfortunately still working and therefore little time to devote to my passion for all things related to sailing, in particular old wooden boats & ships.  Lots of modelling experience long ago in the form of plastic kits (aeroplanes, fighting vehicles and ships), followed by radio controlled aircraft from both kits and plans.  Happened upon a decent modelling shop in Norfolk (UK) and couldn't resist, purchasing the generic cutter 'Lady Jane' as my initial foray into this wonderful hobby. Welcome to MSW Gary,

Know how you feel. I still work so am a weekend modeler. I will be lucky enough to retire on November 6th this year.

You have come to the right place to share your hobby with others.

Once you have started your kit you might consider starting a build log. Looking forward to that if you do.

Paul
