No it would appear it is exactly what it says at the bottom. As a veteran of the old game... I would put forward that as a new comer he should be given a second chance...

Oh, yes, that was pathetic. I did not see that line there at all... That happens when you edit picture on screen smaller than actual picture... O appologize for stupid mistake... Maybe next time...

When i get back from the work ill do it again...

You mean: posting including the name?

From own experience I can tell: sometimes names are hidden in the clouds, in the waves, in the filename, of just plainly written on the sides of the ship.... :)

Hello Crackers (a.k.a. Anthony),

This one's easy. The picture contains the name of the ship.

It's the Russian Battleship Borodino.

But I thought it was Pav's turn?

Take care,

Anja

Ok, so now we have to include the name of the ship – but doesn't that take some of the fun away?

However, Anja, I have to say I don't see it, where the name?

Crackers, I take it the naval battle was Tsoushima in 1905, against the Japanese?

Kester - when you click on the picture to enlarge it the name of the ship is the name of the picture.

Wayne, thank you for answering Kester's question.

No Kester, we don't include the name. That's taking all the fun out of the game.

Crackers was just fooling around a bit.

We just wait for Pav to find a good one for us to search, without including the name.

Take care,

Anja

Kester;

Click on the picture, it is in the name of the picture.

I remember someone else doing that on the old MSW

That one is interesting - it looks familiar for some reason, but not sure why.  I would hold off on hints for a while and see what folks come up with!

Hello Pav,

No, you don't have to include any hints yet.

Although some will not agree with me.

And now I'm off to do some searching.

Take care,

Anja

it remind me a british troopship of the first world war, but refining the research can be a very big problem...

in my opinion can be a white star line ship, like the RMS ADRIATIC , which served as a troop ship, too.

I think you are spot on unless you consider the name on the ship, which is not legible :-(, however it's only 6 characters. I can make out Liverpool below though.

So which of the other big four is it then? Baltic, Celtic or Cedric?

Can't find the exact picture though!

Best Tjeerd

Well, theoretically you can make three or four posts naming a ship in each one...so you solve the problem! :D

Hi Christiano,

In any event if its any of the three I named, I will yield to you, as you did the thinking on it, I merely checked your hunch.

But you are right, shouldn't shoot a salvo like that.

Cheers

TJ

Hello Pav,

It looks like the R.M.S. Taroba.

Take care,

Nope, none of your guesses is right. She was not a troop ship in any wars, altough she was somehow involved with troops in ww1.

Hope its not too much help.

Of for now, i have to go to work. Today im going to do deliveries in londons rush hour...

Kester, you are correct.

Montani semper liberi. Happy modeling to all and every one of you.

  Crackers    :pirate41::cheers:

I am? I didn't know I'd said anything.

(Re. clicking on the picture. I think I would have realised that, if my cursor had passed over it, which it didn't.)
