Your workmanship is very Dr. Mike-like, Alexy, and I can't think of a better complement. Is that a butter knife, razor or what?

Alexey

great job!

One question only: the cutting edge is symmetrical, so it creates a 'head' on both ends of the shank. What do you do with the end where no head is needed? Did you try this with a non-symmetrical cutting edge so it does not create a head on the end where it should not?

Janos

just cut it using wire-cutter or scissors.

Brilliant! I wish I had seen this when I was making the bolt heads for my pintles and gudgeons last month. Next time.

Thanks for sharing

Thank you for sharing this! The set of nails coming with my current kit have uneven heads and they look kind of ugly on the model. I was looking for nails with round head, but couldn't find a supplier. I never believed that I can make my round headed nails so easily!

Thank you again!!!

I used them to get parts (mostly bolts) for my ice yacht scratch build - great stuff and fast turn-around on orders.
