The "like" button isn't enough.. we need a "love it" button.  Your base is fantastic.

That's a spectacular display, Albert, and reminiscent of many contemporary Navy Board displays. A silly question perhaps but are you somehow incorporating a glass case around your dockyard?

Albert, your model is just perfection, or possibly a little better than that . . . and now you've gone a step further with that amazing base. Maybe I don't get out enough, but I've never seen a base like that before.

Oh . . . and when is the launch date?

Jim.

I cut it twice . . . . . and it's still too short!

One of the best designed and crafted display bases I’ve seen. It compliments the model very well. Beautiful work!

I thought your other base was great too.

Fantastic work Albert, and that magnificent display is just the capper on it, probably the best display board I've seen.

I'm really going to miss seeing your updates here, as it's been marvelous even if I haven't chipped in with a lot of comments.  Thank you for sharing this journey with us all!
