Sorry that I answer today, I had 4 days late shift and thank you Karl for the link but sadly it starts quite late. The first 1500 and more steps are already done  ;)  ;)

Hi Chris, you are invited to watch my first steps and my mistakes.......  :D

Tomorrow I have some more pictures for you. Today I have no pleasure anymore, I'm tired like a dog

A little progress on the cabare I have to report

I make the stern timbers but two on the right side are still being made. Sorry I don´t know the English words of these components. The two stern timbers on the left side are not yet glued therefore they are not straight but everything fits well together....!!! Some parts I made 5 ore 6 times until they were correctly  :P  :P

Here are the pictures  :D

Tom,

The transom is shaping up nicely.  I think what you're looking for is "transom timbers".

nice axilliary-tool Tom,

I like that solution for clean sanding Frame contours, and its easy to set up...., and the edge is perpindicular to the base board.

Hi to all, thank you for your comments and all the "likes" you did....!!

Today I build my first Frame (Nr. 63),first I had to do was sawing the frame out, than sanding on my "Sanding table", than sanding with hands and at last I put the tree nails on. The color from the tree nails are too bright, I have to find out what I can change.

Tom I am concerned you may have rounded of the aft edge of your frame which will mean you may have an unsigtly transition to the next frame, in this case the filler timbers below the transom timbers. I think the aft edge of the chamfer should be sharp and to the line indicated on the plan. Cheers. Dick

Hi folks, I'm still alive.....!!!  :D  :D

We move at the end of the month in a house and there I have a Shipyard of 20 m²....coooooool  :dancetl6:

For this reason, I have already packed my entire shipyard and this is already in the new house.

So I do not know when I can continue to build my ships at the moment but I still read here in between in the forum and I am glad when it finally goes further.

I hope everything goes well and I see you soon again.  :10_1_10:  :10_1_10:

Isn't moving fun.  When I made my last move years ago I lost almost all of my photos.  Memorys and models that I built.

Glad to help, Alaska.

You know, I've been so fortunate to stumble across a couple really great buys here on MSW a moments after Chuck posted them. That's even how I got my copy of Le Gros Ventre. So, I feel like I have this big debt to pay and I'm happy to help where I can.

Now, gotta get back to admiring Cpt Tom's build!
