A copy of the MS Bounty Launch showed up in the post today, as I was cutting some MDF for a build board. :dancetl6:

I'll be reading the instructions over several times, at least. Hope to start a build log by the weekend. And now we begin...

Shihawk (were you in the RAF by any chance?!) I do like the look of that Dormanoff serving machine you've got.  It'd be great if you could post a review of it once you've had a chance to play with it for a while.

OK I realise you'd have to be polite about it, bearing in mind that Dormanoff is a MSW member :-)

I gather he also makes a ropewalk, and I'm interested in that too,

Just received this, should offer some relief from trimming and sanding by hand for many jobs :)  :) Also taken delivery of a couple of 0.18mm drills, after severe hunting on the net.I didn't bother taking a pic of them as my camera wouldn't do them much justice

My source tells me it was 1795.00.  Got a better price  can you tell us where?  I was referring  to a members announcement that he had just  purchased a  Hegner scroll saw and the cheapest price I could find was 1795.00 and was wondering if his  source was cheaper.

Can you be a bit more specific?   What post are you referring to?

I received this today from a fellow NRG forums member off of the classifieds. I will build it as a donation to a charitable cause upon completion of the Victory that I'm currently building. I hope to do a build log on this model kit when I get started.

I know what you mean Roman, I notice this particular kit isn't that easy to find here in the US either.

Nothing (in the mail).

A cold (in the head/nose/throat).

Can't answer the phone, and the Admiral thinks I'm daft to go out to the workshop and try to make progrss on my Enterprise.

I did, though ...

I was referring to an announcement by a member that he had just purchased a  Hegner scroll saw  which is a very fine tool.    I was wondering from whom did he purchase it for  the price of  the  cheapest source I could find  was 1795.00.

Doghomer, I certainly cannot speak for Kevin who started this interesting post; I do not know what he paid for his but when I purchased mine many, many years ago it was close to $700 or $800 with the stand at a wood fair (speciall price) back then for the Multimax 14V. Today you can purchase the same machine from the US importer at www.advmachinery.com their price for the Multimax 14 with variable speed is $845 the popular 18V is $1345. I still love mine and I feel very lucky to have one. Many of my tools I used for business so I could justify the expense to my wife. In any case I highly recommend.
