Le François 1683 by jose_b - Scale 1:48

Yes Carl, she's starting to look like a ship (I hope). I should continue with inboard works (riders), but I couldn't resist to see the whole aspect. In fact, I don't know if making the upper stern in order to install the rest of wales, although I think it's better to keep this space free to work more comfortable inside the model.

Inspired by Johann's longboat for La Créole (archjofo) I'm trying to build this one for Le François.

These are the first steps. There's a long way to go.

Hello,

That makes me happy that I have inspired you with my longboat for the La Creole.

Your model from the Le François and the longboat are just great.

Thanks Johann. Unfortunately, by now, I can't continue on Le François due to my job; I'm very busy, at least until Spring or Summer. However, I follow your post, among other, on this forum in order to maintain inspiration and motivation. I'm wishing coming back to my hobby and passion.

Another small update (sorry for the photos, I'm not good as a photographer).

They'll do me just fine Jose. You show us what you've got in your own way, we'll just have to enjoy the view .... well done
