    Yes, fantastic job for sure. I'm at the point of adding the false timbers and it's making me want to forget about the project and dump the kit into the bin, so you are helping me get past that and give it another try. Just not sure how you get the pins and holes in the deck to line up? I also might need some therapy.

    Your ship is looking great, and I know not an easy build. I'm working on the same kit,it now six years and with some luck I might Finnish it this winter. I have picked up some points from following your build so thank you for posting all you work. Doug

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
