After listening to the Mariners mirror podcast about three weeks ago about the search for this ship I began reading a little bit more about it. Now it’s found! I guess they started a little PR tour a bit early haha

Outstanding work Ryland! Well deserved award

Seems odd. Both of you have posted as I presume your correct accounts (BikerMart and Landlubber Mike). Clicking on your profile seems to work normally. The techies may have an idea

Welcome to the forum. You will find a wealth of information here with many who are eager to help with any questions you have. Although I now live in Ohio I grew up in Baltimore and having the inner harbor area ships as well as one of the worlds greatest collection of model ships in Annapolis is wonderful inspiration.

That's a very smooth run there. Your attention to detail is really showing

Outstanding result Ryland. Your build has been a joy to follow. You should be proud of this work and I eagerly await your next build

The entire point of the meme is to make the internet rage-nerd trolls react. Having a FireFly character saying something from the Star Trek franchise and attributing it to a Star Wars character is what makes it funny.
Kinda like this one..
A lord of the Rings character quoting a Star Wars guy and attributed to a Harry Potter character...
The original Dr Who Dalek getting mistaken for a Star Wars droid then not even knowing that and saying you liked him in Star Trek is pretty funny

Hehe very similar to a tee-shirt I saw many years ago had this on it…

Looking forward to this build

Exactly, Michael! My party trick is to cut an exact 45 degree angle without a protractor using the reflected image on the back of the chisel.
Haha the first time I saw that it blew my mind 😵💫…. magic

Druxey, I like that you show what can be done with a 1/4" chisel. Excellent work as always

I think having a featured article in the Nautical Research Guild journal would be a great place to start.
Also many of us here are members of local modeling clubs which publish monthly newsletters. A short(ish) write up of the project which we could include in the newsletter would reach many more.I am eagerly looking forward this project.
