I ENJOYED every single second spend building talking to every one here, the help & support. I have convinced the wife for a new build but at the moment we/"I" have a a size im only can go to. So the passion for this hobby can continue..

  4. 2270 days ago on the 3rd April 2014 I started this adventure, not all this time was focused on constitution there was some mutiny causing build construction to halt.. But after a long drawn out debate work carried on finally she is here, with only minor outstanding (case ) waiting ..... im happy, I have fully enjoyed this journey, but it has taken every bit of effort, skill i could. But to everyone that has followed this build log, given much needed support & advice Thank you.

  6. Hello All, Thanks for the comments and Likes, as always very much appreciated. Is anyone able to shed a little light on this? Just cant understand whats being asked.. The Crossjack Yard: The crossjack yard is held in place by a sling and a truss pendant. The sling is rigged as per the fore main yard and is of 0.5mm black thread. There is only one truss pendant, of 0.5mm black thread, for the crossjack which leads from the starboard side round the back of the mizzen mast, through an eye on the port side then down the port side of the mizzen mast towards the deck. A 3mm double block is tied into the end of the truss approximately 100mm from the deck. A 3mm single block is hooked to a copper eyelet on the deck (position shown on Plan Sheet 18), and the falls of 0.25mm natural are tied into the crown of the block at the same time. A tackle is formed between the two blocks and belays to the circular fife rail on the mizzen mast (b24).

  11. Hello All, Thanks for the comments and Likes, as always very much appreciated. Have finished the Fore Yards,, Bloody pain, Thus due to (my) lack of understanding what was needed and visual, But help from others and the Build guides.. Been pondering on how to tackle the parrell" If thats the correct word.. took me a rather long time to find the part as i was unsure and it (Part No..607 &708) Now the next step is my problem trying to figure out how the they fit to yards, I cant find clear enough pictures on it..

  13. Thanks everyone, for likes and comments, very appreciated, I found the "fore yard" (now I know its name) was not a small task as I could not clearly understand its construction. Looking for part that I do not have.... With the help of "Shiyard sid"(many thanks) Waiting on just a few more hours for glue to fully set. Il clean it up a bit more before painting etc.. Had to order a few more ring and I may of missed places or lost some..
  14. I have been little busy last few days while i wait for my order... i stated to make (forgive wrong wording).. the yard masts.... i have started to make the Fore masts as per sheet 7.. but.. this is where im getting lost.. i know the the mast are in three parts..... im not sure i guessing little white metel parts come in... Not sure how they fit in what size i need etc... Could someone spare a few minutes pointing in the right direction
  15. Hello All, Thanks for the comments and Likes, as always very much appreciated. Yet a very fine day I could be out side doing something , Wife would not let me up ladder no the roof as we have a very limited ED at the moment.. I and finished the backstays of both mizzen & main .... For what ever reason early in the build I think when I started the rat lines, I used the wrong size thread,, so no out of 0.75mm black... ( i now have this no order. so a few days rest the only one I found fiddly was the Main Topmast Breat Backstay,, Main Mizzen
  16. Greeting all, First let me start by saying i hope each and every member on MSW, is safe and well. Second apologies for a very long gap.. Ok.... It has been a good few years since i was able to work on this small ship. House has come a long way. With not being able to work. Unable to continue on installing a kitchen. (They cant deliver it).. so long chat with the boss... told her im working on the ship,, i have a good to months... cant just sitin front of the Tv. THE Victory was kept in her storage box all the time. Moved about the house while work went on.. the following pictures are as of today.. Once rate lines were complete, as most agree, a painstakingly long boring task.... killed the back.. worked out icould to a 5 run the break... about an hour of game time....

  19. Hey Sam, Indeed it does now even worse, now we are moving. She is all boxed up ready for the move., How ever the Enterprise is small enough to move in the car I would say about 6 months until she is unboxed, I will be working on other small parts as we wont move for about 8-12 weeks but slowly boxing things so we shell see.
  20. Been a long while since a good update. RL getting in the way with a new job. But back for a while as we are moving. Going to be doing a little bit more on the for stays, then it will be boxed until the move Ratlines 99% Complete.. Worked on the Mizzen stay and the Main Stay.....
