Ty Brian i replaced a lot of the plastic fittings with wooden scratchbuilt parts.

Ty coxswain, a lot of these old yawls had their sterns altered and diesel engines fitted along with a wheelhouse and the masts greatly reduced.

Ty mirabell- she gets dusted from time to time, but does need a good clean after being on the shelf in 2 different houses over the last 18 years.

All the old danish boats fishing out of whitehaven (england) were of the counter sterned type and i do intend to build one one day.

thankyou Werik- a lot of danish skippers brought their boats to the U.K. during the war. The first one i went to sea on was built in 1941 in a field in denmark and was called the M A Kirk.

thankyou. I started the model in 1997 and worked on her until 2002 then had a ten year break from her due to housemove and family commitments- finally finished her in 2013. Have only been a member here for a few weeks so no build log i'm afraid.
