You have the heat Adriaan, we have the rain……

 

It's start raining last night and it didn't stop.

At the front of our house, we have a play ground for children.

They now have a swimming poole

Hi Robert, you have done a very good job on those decks. they look very good. Have you considered installing some form of lighting to perhaps allow the to be seen?

I never bothered with planking the deck that you will never see. Saved a lot of wood in the process and you never know because you can't see it.

I found it easier to shut down a whole deck I find that little extra wood not so bad.

The past week the 2nd deck planking lists put around it, it's just a shame you can not see 80% of the deck later :(

I have been studying these plans since 4pm this afternoon, it is now 10pm and I think I finally figured out what string goes where, and where it belays or ties off too...sometimes I really am an idiot...it was right there on the plans, but my mind refused to see it!

Now one (hopefully the final) question, is there a special knot I should use to tie off around the belaying pins?

I found it almost impossible on this scale to make a knot around the pin.

as I have done this.

First insert the homemade rope to the pin.

then bring the rope as shown in the pictures.

Dragzz is the upper deck fitting in the slots?

rob i hope u did not clue the top deck yet to me it look like its the wrong  way just make sure u watch for that ok good luck on the build

Dragzz, nothing has been glued yet the upper deck is just whether it fits into the holes.
