Sam, Good to hear that you are feeling and getting better. New job is with the same company, technically. My company was bought by another company. So my new job is a little bit of a promotion, but LOTS more work right now. Should slow back down in about 6 months or so as we get into the swing of things. Look forward to seeing your progress. Sam, The Enterprise is looking fabulous. Glad to see you put this ship back on your bench to finish. I am lurking, still trying to find the time to rebuild my build log. I have been slowly working on mine as well, but work has been busy and spring has sprung, so I am only getting a couple of hours per week at the bench. I have the 1st planking of the hull nearly done, only 9 more strakes to go and I should finish the planking of the decks this week as well. Cheers. Shawn

Rich, Looks great! I am getting way behind you and Sam. I still haven't rebuilt my build log yet. It was very spring-like in Idaho this weekend so I was doing yard work and took the flyrod out for the first time this year as well. I am about 2/3's of the way done with the first planking of the hull and nearly done planking the deck. I am going to try and get my log built this week. Cheers. Shawn

Rich, Looking good my friend. I have been traveling for work and haven't been able to rebuild my build log yet. I should be able to get it up and running by next week. Haven't made too much progress on my build because of the travel, i am about 1/2 way thru the first planking of the hull. Question for you: I couldn't tell from the instruction manual what would stock to use on the 2nd planking? I am thinking it should be the .5MM thick Sapelly. The first planking is done with the 2mm think Sapelly.... but on page 26 it appears as though it instructs to use the 2MM Sapelly....what did you do? I'm lost. Thanks, Shawn
