    Looks like I might be coppering mine then, I coppered my HMS Pandora and even though I couldn't get exactly the right sized copper plates it looked right when finished. It helped to have the 'Anatomy of the Ship' book as a reference. I notice on your photos that you are plating the bottom of the keel with copper. I thought this was covered in lead along with the leading and trailing edges of the rudder, when i built pandora I used thin tin sheet to simulate the lead, once it oxidised it looked fine.

    Thanks Hornet, that's just what I was looking for. I was looking at coppering my hull but thought Supply was a little too early to have had a coppered hull ? Mick

    I'm having difficulty with the 1st planking of HMS Supply, basically I'm not sure what the profile should be at the stern, the instructions are very vague and I can't find a good picture in the gallery to guide me. The main difficulty I'm having is with the shape below the stern gallery.
