  1. Does anyone have a heller Indomitabe kit for sale? It also was released a Mini Craft kit, if so let me know what you would be willing to sell if for. Regards Thomas
  2. Thanks Mark, to tell you the truth I have not given much thought to the complete build. I have just been trying to get around having just the end of cannons sticking out of the holes provided. I had given some thought to opening them all up and building shelves on the inside for complete cannons to be visible. A lot of work but I don't even have the kit yet, just brainstorming a little. I have already built the Revell victory a couple of times, once when I was 12 and then about 10 years ago. I want a larger scale model but I don't have room for a Heller 1/100 kit. So unless their is something else put there it looks like the Airfix kit. Thomas
  3. I am thinking of getting a 1/180 scale Airfix kit of the Hms Victory, does anyone know where I could get brass cannons for a ship in this scale?

About the NRG

If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
