I made thinner rigging yarns, made new stay ropes, finished the running rigging, added the tiller, the flag on the bowsprit, painted the underwater part with copper and reassembled the whole structure on the slipway

Hi all,
And thanks for making me very welcome to the forum,I'm sure I shall learn new skills a long the way and new friends to help me where I go wrong ( I hope so )
I did make something in the past before moving on to something a bit larger and this is it ( Built in 1976 in Gutersloh) I think it's the Golden Hind . Please tell me what you think gents ?
Welcome, Niallmhor!
Now you're still building ships in bottles?
Best Regards!

Pray...what do you use for masts?
Please do not say wood!!! Ha ha.
Hi Pete!
Thank you!
Yeah, it's bamboo. I often use this kind of tree if I need to get thin masts and spar parts.6 hours ago, Peter Cane said:A defeatist that is unsure of his limitations or a wise man who is absolutely sure of his limitations.
I think the wise man knows that most of the time there are no limits.
We set our own limits when we say we can't do anything before we try to do it...

Think its time to start again but this time with a drawing.
Why, Pete? Is there a problem?
Best Regards!
Igor.P.S. There's a forum for bottled shipbuilders. And group in FB too.

Then I put the upper part of the hull in the bottle and put it in her place with the addition of glue.

Then the wiring diagram of the rigging inside the bottle was drawn up and the davits were slightly improved

By the way, Pete, you can see the sail making process here - https://modelshipworld.com/topic/15797-pilot-cutter-jolie-brise-by-igorsky-finished-bottle-scale-1240/page/2/

Igor.
Sorry....I am late to the party.
I am totally gob smacked with your model SIB.
I do not know you but looking at the incredible tiny details of this fully planked and decked ship I do know that I am witnessing world master class SIB modelling.
I have the old Jack Needham book which is good but compared to what you are doing it doesnt come near.
If you have not already, please write a book on it including this model.
Your build has taught me so much already.
Your are in another league.
Right down to the sails which are bang on the right colours and not just stuck on but with tiny mast rings toboot. The list is endless.
Absolutely totally awesome.
I have never seen anything like it.
Thank you my master.
Pete
Many thanks for your feedback, Pete!
My home library has several books by different authors about making ships in a bottle. But in these books there are usually only basics and simple examples. So don't limit yourself to books! Communicate with colleagues, fantasize, try to do things that seem impossible at first.
Best regards and good luck!
Igor.
P.S. Write a book? I have another idea!

Then I took the model off the slipway and stuffed it all into a bottle, applying some silicone sealant to the bottom of the bottle beforehand. I placed the boat's hull diagonally and left it to dry.
