    I am trying to get my head around the jib & jumbo halyard rigging. The instruction book shows a pin with block attached to the rail , like the throat/ whip rigging for the gaffs. However the plans sheet 3 & 4 have no corresponding points for the attachment . Also on the staysail halyard in the idle position,do the lines from the ends of the blocks get tied off to the hooks and then to the sheer poles ? Any advise would be apprecited Bob

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
