    I like to read on this forum about all of the fantastic ship prosjects out there. I have the same passions to create such a wonderfull ships. I started with this hobby at 12 year im now 46 year. Good luck ships mates with your prosjects. I need help with my rigging, the fore toppgallant braces on the Flying Fish did the lines frome the block at top goes direktly to starboar pinrail ore is the lines treath into the lubbers holes along the masts and then to pinrails?     Sailing and the era of sailships has been my big hobby. I ovned a sailsloop and likes to bee on the fjords in summer times. Wintertimes is used to build models of sailship and my latest project is the clippership Flying Fish. The model clipper i build is scratch built and reach 1.5 meters in lenght. Have å nice building times on this.

If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
