  1. Thanks so much, I apreciate it so much, this is the only place I get answers about my questions, even asking directly to Proxxon. Thanks for all of your helpful information. I just had a few additional questions, let me to explain a little bit more, and because one image speacks louder than thousand words. At the top of the attached image is the drillchuck, and let me be sure.....Can I remove the cover?, just the cover, not the full chuck, leaving it as the spindle of the engine with no cover, as show at the top right of the image (drillchuck sample) or the bottom left of the image (spindle engine). So if it is possible to leave the drillchuck as the spindle of the engine, my question are if both sizes marked as "?" in the image are the same and if the screw thread of both are more or less the same. The reason is because I need something to fit into proxxon 3 jaw chuck and I'm thinking to buy the drill chuck to use it but for other lathe machine, because I think they must be the same. And just to give you an explanation, the reason is just to provide a small three jaw chuck to my lathe, and the problem I'm facing is to find a bolt or slave to fit into the three jaw chuck because it says it is M16*1 but really it is M16*1 fine thread. So I think if I buy the drillchuck, I could use it to fit into the proxxon 3 jaw chuck and use it with another engine lathe.
  2. To simplify my question: ¿Are both tips, the spindle of the lathe and the spindle of the drill-chuck accessory, with the same sizes (diameter) and same screw threads? ¿Could I use the same spring collet set that comes with the Proxxon Db250 in the Proxxon 27028 Drill Chuck accessory? Kind regards Benjamin C.
  3. Hi Wefalck, yes you are right and it´s not my intention. But the real thing is that I need to know if the spindle of the lathe and the drill-chuck accessory has the same measurements like the diameter size and if it has the same screw threads as the primary spindle of the lathe. Kind regards Benjamin C.
  4. Hello everyone. I would like to clarify some doubts I have with the Proxxon Db 250 and its accessories before purchase them. Does anyone know if the product Proxxon 27028 Drill Chuck with Sliding Sleeve (https://www.amazon.com/Proxxon-27028-Sliding-Sleeve-Tailstock/dp/B001LRQS66/ref=pd_sim_469_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B001LRQS66&pd_rd_r=56118226-dc5c-11e8-a3d1-552a6c0f9979&pd_rd_w=cuFKK&pd_rd_wg=8nXUV&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=18bb0b78-4200-49b9-ac91-f141d61a1780&pf_rd_r=ZCKBFFQR4AC0QMV7FMQE&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=ZCKBFFQR4AC0QMV7FMQE) will screw in the Proxxon 27026 Three Jaw Chuck (https://www.amazon.com/Proxxon-27026-Three-Chuck-Lathe/dp/B000S5LLFU/ref=pd_bxgy_469_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B000S5LLFU&pd_rd_r=56118226-dc5c-11e8-a3d1-552a6c0f9979&pd_rd_w=poG1C&pd_rd_wg=8nXUV&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=6725dbd6-9917-451d-beba-16af7874e407&pf_rd_r=ZCKBFFQR4AC0QMV7FMQE&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=ZCKBFFQR4AC0QMV7FMQE). So to clarify, Will the product Proxxon 27028 Drill Chuck with Sliding Sleeve screw in the Proxxon 27026 Three Jaw Chuck? or in other words ¿Does the Drill Chuck with Sliding Sleeve the same dimensions and same screw threads as the one that the engine has?
