    Hi Keith, Very nice build. As mentioned earlier, a number of us dont realy comment. I love looking at the logs, and may hit the "like" button more often now, but I am not in to repeating comments for the sake of it. In saying that, this is a kit that I am thinking of, and your fine build is tempting me to open my wallet. Cheers Greg

    I nhave just finnished "Desolation Island". Not sure what number it is in the series. I have to say that I personly find this style of writing hard to read, and at times I lost interest. But in saying that overall an enjoyable story. Now I know why lots of people are interested in the 50 gun frigate "Leopard" Cheers Greg

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
